I haven’t seen a topic about this so I decided I’d post it. Which movie out of the remake series do you like better? H1 or H2?
I LOVE H2 50 x’s more than H1. I love them both but H2 is so much better. Everything about it is perfect for me. The mask, Michael, Michael’s mother being shown, etc. I loved everything.
So tell me your opinion about which is better.
i like H1 better then H2 Because h2 was too Friday the 13th the mask and everything was great but Dr Loomis was a complete idiot witch dispointed me and y litte michael looked like a girl instide of the guy from the first one 
The look of Michael was great in H2, it was something new and more…well more realistic to something a person would do if they were hiding for 2 years through harsh winters. The movie direction was not so great in my opinion, so I would have to go with H1 on this one.

I get more of a Halloween feel from H1 so I have to go with that. There are many things I love about H2. But it just feels less like Myers to me.
Prefer the film H1, but the look of Myers more in H2. Can’t wait to see H3 and he better have the X01’s, no Hobo Gear, with the Clean RZ mask.
H1 gets my vote.
I love how rob still kept the original plot of the movie but still gave it his little twist, unlike H2 which was ALL Rob’s ideas which didn’t suit my taste, he also went over board with the ‘F-Bomb’ if you ask me, even I don’t use the word ‘Fuck’ that many times in a sentance. There were only two things I liked about H2,

I agree! “One fucking day at a time. If I hear that fucking phrase one more fucking time, I mean she just fucking sits there” I’m like WHOA!
I like the look of Michael in H2, especially the dream sequence, and I think some of the performances
were better in H2. Overall I like H1 better, though. Never could get over the whole “white horse” part
of the story.
I’m gonna have to go with H1. I loved H2, but something about it just didn’t feel like a halloween movie to me. I didn’t like the whole white horse thing or the ghost mom either. H1 just seemed like more of a Myers movie to me. And I didn’t really like the fact that Michael was unmasked so much in H2. And Daeg was better than the new kid the got to play little Michael.
I liked H2 better, I wasn’t not a big fan of rot mask, I preferred the whole mask, and the rot-scars just killed it for me…looked too Frankenstein. Michael just seemed more bad ass in H2, and I liked the exposed mask a lot (I actually had a dream about it last night). Plus, we see a lot more realistic Michael: instead of killing random people, he killed people who were an asshole to him. I didn’t really like Deag Faerch, had too chubby cheeks, and seemed too nice, not at all how I imagined young Michael to be. I imagined him to be more like the new young Mikey. In H1, Michael killed the only friend he ever had, totally senseless. And Michaels’ costume in H2 is easier to imitate, all you have to do is go to Bass Pro Shop for a lot of it. I didn’t agree with showing Michaels’ face in H2, and the dialogue sucked, but other than that, it was a better story.
I love H1, but prefer H2. I like the fact that it was shot on 16mm (the film look was great); it had great cinematography; it was brutal; etc
I have to say h1 as a better film but I liked the hobo look of Myers in H2 alot. H1 was great cause it still pretty much stuck with john carpenters story but It was different and unique.H2 was pretty good but not as good as it couldve been,I didnt like the whole white horse thing but I loved the look.
I liked H1 better but H2 had its moments… The nurse at the start was top notch, and the scene when he kill the deputy from behind the tree was awesome!!
H1 all the way. H2’s cool. I just prefer the overall vibe of H1 (Michael’s look, the acting, etc.).
Lookwise H2 but overall easily H1. H2 annoyed me with Laurie dropping f-bombs in every sentence of her dialogue. H2 had better kills then H1 though

it put a good modern spin on a great classic movie.
personally, I found H2 kinda absurd and nothing like the original Halloween 2.
