I was looking through the comments on the new TOTS Myers 2018 Mask and was about too ask if Universal will let them release the photos since the trailer is out and all these pictures we been seeing. So anyhow I stumbled across a guy asking a question about what color is the coveralls in the movie. TOTS ‘Chris Zephro I presume’ said they were Spruce green and weathered. Now I thought they were Navy? This is starting too be another Halloween 1 What color where the coveralls for which no one still has a straight answer.

I believe multiple colors were used. Nick Castle’s coveralls are definitely charcoal grey, but if you look at the trailer for example the bathroom scene, they are clearly a very dark blue.
that’s just the difference in lighting and how they appear on camera’s, there was different weathered versions no doubt, but all of them in colour are exactly the same, which is charcoal, even to the naked eye they look blue

For me, I say Charcoal… I think navy blue would look almost like black IMO.
Workrite needs to get cranking and restock Amazon.
I’m nervous they won’t. After a piece is used for a motion picture like this, some companies will discontinue their product. Not always, but sometimes. Hopefully they won’t do that, but thankfully there are some other website that offer them for sale.
My father orders uniforms from them, so he gets discounts and other things. Normally you have to purchase their items in bulk, they don’t really sell their products to just anyone. That’s why 2nd hand vendors are selling more than anywhere else. If you know anyone who works at a Fire dept, or anywhere that purchases their uniforms, see if they’ll hook you up
These are my navy pair I weathered the hell out of to make them nice and light. Now that I know they are charcoal I have placed my order for those…these look pretty damn close though and only look more charcoal in the sun.
I’m starting to think that Nick Castle wore navy coveralls and JJC wore charcoal. Except there is that one behind the scenes pic of them both wearing charcoal… maybe they only had charcoal pairs on them that day
They’re 100% Charcoal. Both pairs they wore. It’s rumored there was a denim dye used which would give them a blue look but JJC was confused in the beginning. He was quoted saying the coveralls were made specifically for the film. We now know they are Workrite and were just specifically weathered by the film’s FX team. At least in this day and age we are all on top of things to figure them out early and not assume like we did for years with the original
Personally, I think it would have been funny if they used both navy and charcoal, just to mess with us and poke fun at the whole ever constant coveralls color debate.
I just read on the fb group that Chris Nelson confirmed they were charcoal tinted slightly blue. So if that’s true I guess everyone is right.
