Halloween 2018 soundtrack (missing tracks)

Is it just me or is anyone else noticing that nowhere in the soundtrack for the new movie includes tracks from the very opening prison scene with the podcasters talking to Michael
The other scene being in Laurie’s home when the podcasters tell her they’ve seen Michael (both tracks sound amazing)
Also to point out back before the movie came out they “teased” the soundtrack with the actual music cue from the prison when Aaron asks Michael about the night in 1978 but isn’t in the soundtrack itself
Any thoughts?

I love the opening music, I noticed it wasnt in the soundtrack but its in the 30 second teaser on Sacred Bones’ youtube page. Still some great music didnt make the cut but they put crap on there like “The Grind” ugh lol

I’m okay with this, but I would’ve raged if the soundtrack didn’t include The Shape Hunts Allison.

my favorite hands down is “The Shape Hunts Allison”

I like all of the pieces of the soundtrack, especially the shape burns, the shape hints Allyson, and the prison montage. Carpenter killed it with this soundtrack, I am in love with the overall tone the music had. Goosebumps all over in the shape hunts Allyson scene lol

Yup best track, it has a major creep factor.

My favorite is still The Shape Returns. I loved the long tracking shot of him when he’s going from house to house and the music just made it absolutely perfect.

You beat me to it… I noticed this immediately after seeing the film…

So far, I noticed the following tracks missing

• “Can you feel it Michael” (opening shot at Smiths Grove)
• The interview
• Laurie’s breakdown in the restaurant (awesome version of lauries theme)
• Allyson sees myers (cop car hits Michael)
• Allyson escapes into the woods
• Laurie stalks the shape (going room to room, before the grind)
• She’s gone - the shape looks down to see laurie missing

Did I miss anything?

I sent some contacts of mine to check out whether the full expanded score would be released…

Bonus:
• “Close to me”

I was sad that the song on the soundtrack teaser video wasn’t on the actual soundtrack. I liked it, reminded me of the Halloween II theme.
