Since agreement on how to proceed with Halloween 3 cannot be reached, I think it would be a good idea to consider a retroactive sequel set about halfway between 1,2 and 4 in.1983 or 1984. This would certainly make things right with the fans who were upset that Michael Myers was not in Halloween 3 SOTW. In an interview on the delux blue ray set, it was mentioned that John Carpenter and Debra Hill actually drafted story treatments on this idea shortly after Halloween 2. Just knowing what they had in mind for this would be very interesting. If anyone knolows, feel free to share with the community.
