I don’t think there’s anything legit about the Matisse ITC Font, lol. May have well had used Wingdings.

HAHAHAHAHAHA! This just made my day!

Loved how they used those flyover shots of the sanitarium from Session 9. It’s a shame they tore that place down. Imagine a Halloween film that utilized that place.

Uhhhh…no.

Got a good laugh out of this one haha.

Ha, while it was a decent trailer…they really should have chose a different font LoL

It was interesting, but far from real =p

Some people are just that gullible, I guess.

Err mah gerd!

this is the most crappy fanvid i ever see lol is not real

Mass. is a terrible state for preserving places like that, developers rule the roost in Mass. and R.I. unfortunately and there have been a handful of treasures torn down in both states recently.

Here’s my rant & something that Paul 50-one-50 would probably like me to post on his page but I dont use facebook for a million and one reasons…

Just watching that fake trailer of that whole aura & clips of so called “Halloween” & Michael Myers" makes me hate the Rob Zombie Halloween films more and more everyday…I’m sorry, hate me for it whatever couldn’t care less  H2 could have been great if it had a different story line but it ended up being the worst movie ever created. Rob shouldn’t have caved and stuck with just doing 1 remake and it would have been respected allot more. JMO

As for Halloween 3D, they really need to stray away from that story line he created and start fresh, Go back to the erie stalking roots of the original, along with the original look, but with a twist. Michael Myers should not be GODZILLA. Whoever directs this needs to have a good grasp on the character of myers. They seem to forget he’s the one bringing in the ticket sales not how gory they make it or how many times they can get some c rate actress to take her top off and get killed 10 times within the film.

Halloween 1978 & 81 need to be re-watched & noted heavily by whoever takes on this project, otherwise it’s going to turn into another Horror movie that comes out and then vanishes…Why not make it memorable and capture all the elements that fans now want and past fans like us want as well. Unfortunately getting that balance is difficult.

Thanks for reading.

I loved Robs first remake but I agree %100 with you, A movie doesnt have to have blood and gore for it to be scary. H1 1978 is a perfect example. No blood or gore yet still scary.

Man, talk about hyperbole. Zombie’s H2 is nowhere near the worst film ever. People can complain about Zombie’s H2 not being “Halloween”, but considering how much Halloween devolved into something ridiculous (i.e. Resurrection, which people seem to think is what the REAL Michael should be like), I’m GLAD it was nothing like the other films. In fact, I completely embrace the changes made. Zombie finally had the balls to do what none of the other people involved with the Myers sequels wanted to: ditch the Carpenter playbook and do something different. I love Carpenter’s film, but watching director after director copy and paste with less and less success what made that film so great is just disheartening after a while. Even watching Zombie do it in the remake was frustrating, because I was expecting something more akin to his H2. If the next film comes down to another original take on the character, or someone trying to do what Carpenter did and failing miserably just to appease some fans, I’m going to be rooting for the original take all the way.

Start fresh, Go back to the erie stalking roots of the original, along with the original look, but with a twist.

Start fresh, but go back to the original? I have the original. I’m satisfied with the original. Let’s get some new ideas in there, and if we have to do something like the original, let’s adapt the recent comics. I thought they did a great job of returning to some of the themes in the original without Xeroxing it, which is what I’m afraid is going to happen with this new film.

Halloween 1978 & 81 need to be re-watched & noted heavily by whoever takes on this project.

I think whoever does the next film should be a fan of Halloween, but should also have their own ideas as well. Like I said, we’ve seen directors come in and simply copy and paste from the Carpenter handbook. I’m all for influence, but I don’t want a repeat. I want to be surprised by a Halloween film again, but I don’t see that happening when all the fans want to see is the original movie wrapped in a shiny new bow.
