I picked this up because I only own the first Halloween on DVD (I want to get the boxset at some point).

Right, here’s the classic Halloween 4 poster/DVD cover/ect.

Looks like a follow up to the first two films, right? Looks awesome.

Now, look at the new 2010 Halloween 4 DVD…




Does it remind you of another entry in the Halloween saga?




The DVD itself is awesome, and doesn’t have any Rob Zombie inspired elements anywhere.

But why did Anchor Bay do this? Well, I guess to attract more customers, the casual buyer, as it were.

When I was paying for this, someone in the queue actually asked me if it was “the old film or the new one”.

I believe that is the PAL version am I correct?.

The biggest surprise back in the day was that the mask was different from the poster.lol

PAL versions tend to have cool covers :rock:
I have a region free player so when both regions have the same extras, I tend to choose by the cover.lol

I hate when companies change cover art. The two movies covers that I feel should have stayed original…Halloween 2- loved original skull pumpkin- and Return of the Living Dead. So I try to make my own.
