Who all makes these? I thought I remember a Don Post version but I can’t find any on eBay. I also remember JIB had one but the site no longer exists. Can you still get the Don Post one? I thought it was 2006?
I made my own.
Theres a DP one??
Looks sick man I saw that. PMed you. I know I could make one out of bandages but I would prefer a mask that I could get on and off quickly. I thought about using a regular face mask and just latexing bandages to it, but that would be even hotter.
I made a dp one…its a dp 2006…
Cool stuff I might make one. But why do you ise an actual Myers mask, just for the form? I suppose any human face mask would work being that Myer’s actual face is not the mask. The mask does look good underneath. I might try to make one without a full mask but have the bandages be a mask itself yet be able to lift off. Should be fun.
sure bro, you could probably just make one with bandages! i might try it one day with a blank
It’s the eye holes that you have to pay close attention to. That’s what really makes it look more screen accurate is getting the eye holes correct. Not easy either. You have to enlarge the eyecuts on the latex under mask in order to make the bandage mask eyeholes look screen worthy.
yup…ron put it exactly right…i wasnt personally going for accuracy but i did it because i had to opportunity…it all comes down to your personal preference
Yeah it is still cool looking mask regardless. I would try to get the eyes as close as possiblle. I could just build one on my mannequin head and not need an undermask, but I would also like a mask that I could wear as opposed to wrapping my head up everytime. I might get a cheap Myers for a base and use it as the blank.
You could build it on a mannequin head and then cover it with clear latex to hold it together.
Yeah I thought about that, my latex dries kinda yellowish clear depending on the thickness, but I could use underneath it the bandages or paint it too if I had to.
