Where can you order it from??? I’d be into getting this one, although the Halloween II expanded edition was a bit of a let-down…

Meh, cool I guess. It only has four more tracks than the original release. Now the H5 score is what really needs an extended release.

They need MORE of those cheesy 80’s songs, PLUS extended versions of the dumb-cop songs and perhaps even remixes of them :wink:

If they’re going to do special versions of HalloweeN soundtracks, why not give us the original John Ottman H20 soundtrack?

So I just about bought a used Halloween 4 CD off of ebay the other day. I don’t know how but I just happened to run across this information and went ahead and ordered this one instead. I’m just hoping and praying that this isn’t like the Halloween II special edition CD, which I wasn’t really impressed with.

Amen to that. I’ve always been curious to listen to Ottman’s bombastic orchestral score as I wasn’t so fond of the musical cues in the theatrical H20.

PPle his score was released. Under the album called Portrait of Terror < that cd contains his complete original score to Halloween H20.

So has anyone else received their copy of Halloween 4 yet? Mine just came in the mail today… finally! Anywho, I think the soundtrack sounds great!

Now I only have two complaints, first, my little Halloween 4 4X6 poster decal was all bent up. The second complaint I have is about the title track listings, mainly cause it’s listed as one thing and has several scenes and parts of the movie throughout the entire track. So it’s a little confusing to know what you’re listening to unless you know the movie really well. An example, for this new soundtrack the title track #5: He’s in the Street, this is actually a longer #3: Garage from the original version. So I don’t know why it wasn’t named something a little more appropriate to that scene.

In all honesty though, there are just very small complaint I had. I think the music sounds great and does a nice job playing in the order of how it was in the movie.

Now my next question, for those of us that pre-ordered this soundtrack I read on facebook that halloweenmovies.com was going to give us a free gift for our patience. This is the quote from their facebook page:

So does anyone know what that free gift is? Cause all I got was the soundtrack, my bent up Halloween 4 poster decal and a little sCare foundation sticker.

I didn’t get anything with mine except the scare foundation thing. No Halloween extra came with mine. :confused:

I got mine today, with the 4x6 poster and also, the “scare foundation” sticker…wasn’t aware of special gift thing??
