Halloween 4 sculpt

Halloween 4 Myers sculpt I’ve been working on for the past 2 months. It is still in clay form but I used mark-up and filters to show its potential with paint, eyecuts, and hair. Critiques are encouraged! Thanks for viewing

ps: let me know if you would like to see un edited photos of the sculpt and can post them on here…

Ya let’s see some unedited pics for reference.

Can you do multiple views as well (side shots ) , I’ll help you with side by side comparisons with hero, and sculpting suggestions. :kitchen_knife: :jack_o_lantern:

Still figuring out this new forum set up I haven’t posted on here in years😭

Not the best photo due to the light coming into the room washes away a lot of the detail but this is the sculpt right now. Still some smoothing but the general look is there.

So your doing it as a kirk first, than cutting the eyes out after?

Yes I thought it’d be cool to do a drugstore version as well as a school scene version with the original Kirk look.

I think the big thing is it seems a bit small compared to the hero, and the eyebrows look a bit too close together. First impressions anyway. What pics are you using for reference?

I get what you mean I may have to increase the size but I’m doing it little by little as to not shock the sculpture. For references I’ve used photos of the hero and stunt masks as well as the “Halloween 6 background mask”. I also use masks with screen used lineage like the Damned 88 and the sph4. However reference is limited right now as for some reason the gallery is not working for me :frowning:

Well Phkob makes the best h4 , maybe use his for reference? Goes by PhPh on Facebook.

Have you tried refreshing the gallery a couple times?

Just finished molding the sculpture and the mold came out close to perfect. Regarding things that were pointed out during the sculpting phase I pretty much re-sculpted the eyebrows, nose, mouth, and eyes with the help of some high def photos of a DPH4. Thanks for any tips and help that have been provided! Been a fun project! Can’t wait to get some casts! Also, sculpt came in roughly around a 24 inch circumference by molding time.

First pull out of the mold. Excuse the blemishes as the crystal clear that was stuck in the mold served as an inhibitor to the latex cure. But this is just a clean out cast to clean out any left over debris from the mold.

Mask is 23 inches around the brow

While sculpting I feel I underestimated how much latex shrinks so the mask shrank a little more than expected. This is a pretty thick cast so I wanna try making a cast that’s a little thinner to see if it will help with the size. However if the problem is not solved then unfortunately I may have to do a re-sculpt. No clue on how big the hero mask is. From my understanding it’s probably closer to 24 inches around.

Anyways, enjoy!

You’ll have to enlarge your sculpt for the pulls to be bigger, the first one looks good though! reminds me of the Fangoria mask
