Those are really close, the laces just need to come down further and not have that funny cover at the front, they look like the boots in Scream 1 in shape too
wow awesome those are the closest weve came! It is lacking the square toe and correct sole but id order these to complete my costume!
These ones in the pics are size 8 so its not going to look 100 percent, im guessing don shanks wore a size 12 so the to would be alot bigger.
They have the lugs sole too
the more i look the more accurate i feel they are!
I wear a size 8 for most boots though depending on the design it can be a bit smaller

Bumping this up, I scored the boots and looking at these and the film pair, they are the closest to the ones on screen, despite a couple inaccuracies, these are the most comfy boots I have worn
they look great! Now I need to hunt down a size 11

O could wear the coveralls but, it would have my sh*tty postal blue employee shirt overtop
I had some interesting results pop up by searching for mining boots on ebay. But most of the ribs appear to be closer to the toe, and not the arch of the foot.
The Dakota’s which I own, are pretty much the closest match we have, the sad thing though, the area covering the toes below the laces has cracked, cause it’s made from a plastic like material, so I don’t wear them anymore, it explains why they are impossible to find, especially given they are hiking boots
Dang that is terrible the plastic part cracked! I was almost wondering if it was a piece that was actually added to the boot. But if they were on the Dakota boots from the factory…then I guess there would be no place to buy a replacement part (or find vintage spares)
