I know it’s been kinda “slow” here lately, but needing help!.. Does ANYONE have a GOOD, SOLID PICTURE of the knife used in HalloweeN 5? Trying to gather up all the real, or at least very close to the prop knives used on film throughout. Got 1,2,4 and possibly 6 wrapped up. Will work on the Solingen for H2O , and H8’s later. Thanks for any help, pics I can get.
Auz has screenshots on his website but I don’t know how much help they’ll be:
FOUND it!!! That had the pic I needed!! Thanks again. Gonna go ahead and apologize to Auz, cause I’m gonna use a couple of comparison pics when I get it in.
Halloween H8’s knife is a Victorinox 12’ Chef’s knife with a Rosewood handle, Same as the H1 remake.
Also, correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe that the H20 knife is a 14’ Wusthof Chef’s knife. Links below!

Yes I believe you are correct, the H6 was a victorinox also, just lighter colored wood, but basically looks same as H8. There are a few that would pass as the H2O, but for accuracy I believe you are also correct. As for H4, I went with a basic Chicago cutlery with no tang. For H5, it looks to be a dexter with full tang. I say dexter cause of larger brass rivets, and a darker mahogany colored handle. Looks too dark to be a rosewood lamson to me. Anyway, there’s prob several different ones that would pass for what we see on film, I’m just trying to find as accurate as possible, keeping in mind that stage prop knives blades, handles, etc have prob all been altered or just plain made, and are lucky to find a real brand that resembles them. Still sticking with lamson for h1, and victorinox for elrod h2.
Judging by screenshots, you’re spot on with H1, H2, H4, H5, and H6. Great research!
Thank you, H6 12" victorinix headed my way!! keeping an eye out for the H5 Dexter now. Thanks again.
Anytime! Make sure to post pics when it arrives!
Couple of pics of what I see as the H4 knife, this is my Chicago Cutlery with a 10" blade with no hilt. History note, I didn’t know the H4 knife was a borrowed prop from the new blood Friday 13th… Don’t know who owns this prop display, but borrowed the pic for comparison.
Wow i really like the figure or this knife, its god to see a kind of knife like this looks really sharp and easy to handle,
H5 knife has landed, this is a 12" Dexter. Based on screen caps, handle size, shape and same color, just shadowed on film and then the size, color of rivets led me to this knife as the closest “real” knife to film.
My real I-Forschner Victorinox H6 knife also with screen cap. Lighting forces H6 handle to look lighter than really is. Anyway here is my H6 knife. Thanks for looking…
Hey there, sorry for resurrecting such an old thread but I just had a question . What size is this H6 knife? The screenshot looks like a 10" blade, while the second photo of your knife looks to be a 12"? Might just be my eyes. Regardless I would love to know!
Actually have another lighter handled 10"Victorinox same as in H6, moved my 12" victorinox (one I have above) over as the same in H8. And in RZ 1. And since this thread is updated, not a Lamson in H1, it’s whichever one mine is( no branding on it). So this leaves me with only needing the 14" Wusthof for H2O.
