I took some outside shots of this mask right before is starts storming here. This pull was taken directly from the original mold before the disgruntled FX employee sabotaged the molds and masks; one of the few that remain. This is an uncut pull painted and haired, incorrectly I might add. Crazy detail…crazy. Notice the dimple on the chin? Hummmmmm.
That pull really has the detail.Nice mask man.What did the employee do to the mold if you dont mind me asking…
How many version of the molds were there Billy??
I always see two versions of the six masks
One with roundish features like the SSNs and BHs and then there are ones like this one.
Nevertheless the details on that is incredible, I love the way there is no shading, I hate that.
Looks as if it originated from the same mold as this one.

Mine is from this mold; the mold you highlighted was a mask made for H20, not Halloween 6 and used right at the beginning of H20 when the nurse is killed and was made at Stan Winston Studios; I remember that auction well on eBay. Who knows, maybe they still have the original mold.
Yeah, Ive noticed replica versions of the one I posted that have the dent on the tip on the nose saying they are from the H20 mask and then I see some without it like yours.
Then there are the ones from SSN which I also heard were from H20.

Hey Billy, one more questions. This mask, the pull, looks indentical to the film. Why are there H6 masks floating around that are baby ass smooth with weird rounded features? Were these pulled from the “damaged” mold you speak of? What throws me is people always scream how accurate the smooth mask is when it’s not at all accurate to whats on film. Your mask is.
It kinda looks like this one that I got off the HMA a while back. I was told it was done by Alex Sanchez??? Anyone know who that is?? Any info appreciated. This thing is very very thick! Neck is not slit in the back either
Yours was actually cast off mine. Alex was the person who EA got this mask from, then I purchased it from him.
No clue, I think they recasted the main mask when they needed some dupes quickly.

Yeah I noticed that your copy resembled Billy’s.
I was doin some research comparing each replica that I could find. I love the way Billy’s and your copy don’t have the eyes so close together.
I always heard that the ones with the roundish smooth features were from the molds and pulls used in the beginning od H20.
The NOs and CGPs(casted from theNOs) seem to look like they originated from the copy I posted on pg1.
