Halloween 6 theatrical score composer question

did Alan Howarth did the rock version or did someone else make cause when i listened to the commentary they didn’t talk about it.

Im going to say he did it all. I believe he is the only listed composer on the film. Also his site has this which leads you to believe he did the rock theme.

thanks.the commentary didn’t say anything about the rock version or the score from the final cut. the OST didn’t include it cause either 1.the sounds were recorded in the past or 2.they don’t got the rights to it.cause i listened to the OST and it had missing parts

Alan did the rock Halloween theme but the swirly sounds and the noises and rock stalk were canned from dimension and the rock stalk was done by a friend of Joe chappelles

Well you learn something new everyday. Chris you are the master of all things H6

well my midi took a long time to do cause i listen to it and made it at the same time. and still i haven’t figured out of how to make guitar riffs.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FEiXVDvw1ec this link has the guitar riffs from the song Painkiller

Paul Rabjohns is the second credited composer. The official score cd is credited all to Howarth and it sounds like his music (a lot of ambient pieces like 4 and 5), so I’d assume Rabjohns was brought in to add the guitar sounds. Howarth has an e-mail address on his website so you can probably ask him.

I knew I wasn’t hearing things when I posted about this back in 2011 LOL

So that extra music was none other than Paul Rajohns.

If you ever get a chance check out Lords of Illusions your hear some of that Halloween 6 kind of music in it too. Not a bad movie by the way.

Very interesting. I did not know that.
