I just received my H8 workprint in the mail yesterday but it wasn’t the one I was expecting. I was expecting the workprint with the Trya Banks on screen death, the firebird scene in the woods, Freddie’s death scene and more alternate footage. The one I received was the one with slightly different dialogue, an alternate score, and an alternate opening and ending. Could someone fill me in on how many workprints of Halloween 8 there are and where I can find the one I wanted? Thanks guys.
I know the one your looking for… no clue… but that blowjob scene in the woods was ridiculous. If that was still in the film, Resurrection would be a whole new level of suck.

**There are two workprints.
One is called “The Homecoming”, which appears to be the one you have.
The other is the rarer of the two and features the scenes to which you are referring. Although good quality copies of The Homecoming can be found, I have yet to find a copy better than a C- or D of this rarer work print of Resurrection.

which one was the print with michael submerged in the bathtub? I remember seeing the scene in tv spots before the film was released but never did see it again since.

I’ve heard of that scene before but I’ve never seen it. I would like to though! I’m assuming it’s in the Halloween: Resurrection workprint which differs from the Halloween: The Homecoming workprint. It’s not on my Homecoming workprint so I’m assuming it’s in the Resurrection workprint that contains loads of deleted scenes!
