This is my first post, so please forgive me if there is a better place to post this but, does anyone know if the complete collection is locked to Region A? I know it says its Region A, but I own a few Blu-Rays that say they are Region A and work on my Region B Blu-Ray player. I really want to see the much hyped Directors Cut of Halloween 6, as I have never had a chance before, but don’t want to spend £100 getting it to UK to find I cant play it.
Over @ blu-ray.com, you will not find folks more interested in the technicalities of home video releases. There is a large thread dedicated just to this box set & you might find you answer somewhere in there or by posting in that thread.
But if you don’t mind waiting for next week, once the set is delivered to me, I will be able to confirm the region(s) for you. I’m sorry no one has been willing or able to answer you yet, but welcome
Thanks for Answering Loogs. I had already looked through that thread, unfortunately it is 615 pages long, and from the many I trawled through there was no definite answer. If you are able to let me know next week that would be awesome. Again thanks for your help.

Fear not, as region locks never stop the savvy. From a hardware perspective, the simplest-in-approach solution is a region free or region selectable player. From a software perspective, more advanced solutions include creating personal (region free) backups for unrestricted play.
I bought a Region Free BR player just for this… But hey, I can buy discs from anywhere now.
Thanks so much for this, looks like its off to go buy a multi-region player for me.
