Halloween Ends Corey Scarecrow Mask

I started selling rehauls of the Trick or Treat Studios Corey masks, and I wanted to share my most recent rehaul. For this mask, the only thing I didnt fully repaint was the base burlap design; however, it was heavily modded. The mask also has modified eyes, nose, and mouth to match the screen used mask. I tried to replicate every brush stroke, and I believe I got as close as possible. I also covered up the elastic string holes and replaced it with a more accurate elastic band.

If you’re selling these, you should totally share some before-and-after pics side by side. It’ll really show off the transformation from the original to the revamped version. It’ll help your clients see how much better you make them. Great job, man!

yup, my etsy listing has a comparison, here it is

Cool dude—As a fellow artist, I think you should create one of these pieces using glue on synthetic hair for a jacked-up, wiry look. Make it darker and creepier by layering real burlap over fake burlap, gluing it down, and weathering it to look rotten and dirty!

My aim with these masks is to make them as screen accurate as possible, unless i was commissioned to do so

I sometimes get in the zone for screen accuracy, and sometimes I don’t—it really depends on how I’m feeling with that particular piece, however once I find my groove, I just ride the wave! Remember, enjoyment is what matters most. Keep up the awesome work dude!
