The writing was great in this one. All of the dialog was way better and the people are relatable.

It is surprisingly a totally pointless and likewise vapid experience that feels completely disconnected from all of its predecessors. There is nothing Halloween feeling about this film both in terms Halloween as a season and Halloween the movie franchise. It just feels like a very bland slasher flick that could have gone straight to video in the 80s.

yea the contrived plot line of trauma healing and the juvenile writing that came with it offered by out of touch ne’er-do-well writers was truly ground breaking. of course when you compare one trash heap to another one always seems less smelly I guess.
