I was on eBay earlier and saw someone selling a dvd that had a bunch of special features. One of them was deleted scenes from Halloween H20. I realized I had never seen any deleted scenes from that movie. I’ve seen the tv version. But on the trailer for instance it shows Sara outside screaming. From what I’ve heard once her death originally took place outside. From the looks of it, it was filmed. Is there any deleted scenes actually out there? If you have a link or info that’d be cool.

The quality of most of these scenes (particularly the work print) is only average at best but still cool to see and if you search around you can still find the tv and work print. These never saw an official release.
I always felt a huge opportunity was missed with the Complete Collection set that came out a couple of years ago. Every Halloween film installment (outside of Halloween 4, H3 had a little more gore that was cut and H5 had a beginning scene that can be found on some releases as an extra) had extra/longer/alternate scenes. I would have loved for these alternate cuts of the films to have been included.
The H1 and H2 tv cuts were finally released and for the most part they are intact with what was shown on the networks originally. You can get the H3 uncut version with a little looking. As mentioned before H4 never had an alternate cut (that I know of at least) and H5 had a different intro you can get as a bonus on some dvd releases. H6’s producer’s cut was FINALLY released but the TV cut, Rough Cut and Director’s cut all have some different goodies. The TV cut of H20 and the work print have never been released nor has the work print of Resurrection. There are two work prints of Resurrection, one (the rarest) is known as just the work print and features the “tent scene” as well as Tyra’s death scene among others. The other is known as “The Homecoming” and is easier to find.
Rob Zombie’s Halloween Work Print has scenes not found in any of the official releases and (in my opinion) is the best cut. I’ve never found an unreleased version of RZ’s H2 but there are some deleted scenes you can get as bonus features from the unrated released version.
