H20. Such a better movie in all. 2018 was good but lots and lots of dead air in it.

Way better. I love the brother and sister line.

To be honest, I like ‘em both for different reasons as I do all the other films in the franchise; when Michael Myers does the concentrated slow-one-armed-reverse pull-up in Halloween H20, gotta say that was awesome because you have to have an immense amount of strength and skillset to do that; if he was locked away all those years, this just shows that he has a super-human quality to him, a side to him that gets unleashed only when he sees fit. Also, like how in Halloween 2018, when Michael Myers kills both Aaron & Dana; just the brutality and slaughter of this entire scene sets the dramatic tone for the rest of the trilogy in the series because it shows he is purely an evil emotionless stalking apex predator who will stop at nothing until his tasks are met; a true plotting diabolical killing machine with only one thing on his mind, death doom and destruction.

Not really a fan of either as Halloween films, but i.m.o. H:20 is the better movie in general and has a much better performance by Jamie Lee. H’18 did away with the sibling thing which was nice, but it didn’t really make much of a difference in the outcome of the film.
If H:20 was just a run of the mill post-Scream slasher-thriller hybrid without being part of the Halloween series I think I’d legitimately enjoy it, if H’18 was also devoid of being part of the Halloween series it’d still have some glaring issues that’d irk me.

Definitely H20. I’ve always loved the movie.

Out of the franchise, it’s the sequel that feels the closest to the original, as stated by Debra Hill herself in one of the documentaries. Which is something I agree with, and is one of the many reasons I love this sequel.

H20 by far. It was actually a decent movie with likeable characters. Also has the best Laurie Strode of all time. It’s main flaws are 1) Michael feels neutered, especially coming after the incredibly badass Thorn Michael. 2) The movie is too short. It should be 15 minutes longer. 3) The movie is too soft and safe. It feels sanitized. Especially coming after the brutal Thorn Trilogy. But that aside, I still somewhat like it.

H’18 is PURE GARBAGE. Just absolute trash from beginning to end. No likeable characters. Cringe as f—. Really nothing about it or any of that trilogy that I like. As atrociously godawful as HR is, I would rather watch it than any movie in the BH trilogy.

I like H40/ 2018 the best but do enjoy the 90’s feel of H20. JLC looks great in it.

H20 all the way. It has the same intimate feel of the original. Michael stalks a lot and and his kills are quick and not so gory just like the original. Jamie Lee Curtis plays Laurie very well too. She has her demons but there is still the old Laurie in her. I love Chris Durand’s interpretation of Michael.

Excellent picture! It looks like it’s from the movie. What mask is it?

ssn v2 but this one came out better then the rest of the v2
