I ordered the TOTS Halloween II mask and love the way it looks and all but i want to do more with the hair. I was wondering how do you get that matted messy look. When I was younger I had a Michael Myers mask and put hair spray in it and fixed it and put more and more hair spray on it till it was matted, but I get the feeling that wasn’t the best thing to do lol. So I was wondering is there any products I can use or if hair spray is fine, or just some helpful tips. Like I said the “matted/messy” look is what I’m trying to archive. Anything would be much appreciated. 
you can put one hand in the mask and rub the other on the hair outside in circles with your palm, this will bring out the natural wave in the fibre and matt it up… for fixing it, I have used hair spray, but mask off the rest of the mask, so you don’t get any on the latex. Some here may have some better methods, but that’s a start.
What Si said about that technique works well,but it also depends on the type/fibre of hair used and thickness,as for Hairspray or any products on mask hair is a Huge NO NO imo,i done it once in my early days of experimenting,i used some hair product and i felt it ruined the hair fibre and texture totally and was never the same and left me feeling i wish i’d never done that now.
