black jacket (brand kenneth cole. . but i used cheapo asi dont have 80 bucks to throw down)
correct hoodie: REBOOK navy blue. . weathered / . . I USED cheapo thrift store hoodie. . the size of the hood is cricical!!!
red black flannel jacket. . tare lining out. . but KEEP IT ON THE COAT. . . this is the white crap that flies out in front. . i tore off the sleves but again KEPT THE LINING!!!

spray the camo vest wtih black rit dye. . and wash and wash and rewash over and over again to really weather it. .

I wanted to chime in here. The Hood on the “Fox Urban Utility Jacket Woodland Camo” is sewn into the jacket.
They removed the collar sleeves and zipper from the Fox jacket.
The hood and the new zipper come from a Dark Green Dickies TJ319 Rustic Twill Hooded Jacket. The Fox Jacket was sewn ontop of the Dickies Jacket. Dickies sells a couple of other hooded jackets that are pretty close, but this is the one they used. The sleaves and the quilted insulation inside the Dickies jacket was removed.
The wool jacket is the Kenneth Cole Reaction Black Wool Fairmount.
The Red Flannel is a “Faded Glory” Big Men’s Flannel Shirt Jacket with Quilted Lining.
Your costume is amazing, and most certainly the best fan made to date. There’s no need to talk it down. I thought the exposed white lining came from the rainforest.com Cooper-3225 3 season jacket sold in the auction- it has a removable inner lining inside it. So your post about the flannel being the source for that part put that mystery to rest for me.
I knew he wore the flannel under the KC jacket, but I thought it was whole and under the exposed lining garb. I had no idea the flannel was source of that lining effect.
The flannel is so much cheaper than that cooper jacket as well- making this a more approachable costume pricewise for fans. I guess the Cooper 3225 was intended for use, but they decided against it last minute. They call it a prototype jacket and they say the stand in wore it.
I saw Tyler wearing all of this stuff in the dead of night when they filmed that scene where he bumps into the little boy. I could have sworn the vest looked dark black and the hood looked grey, but then again it was from a distance of 15 feet, and it was pitch damn black out. Imagine my surprise when the actual picks came out and it was a camo styled vest. I guess we wont know how the hood play is really used until we have the film on home media to study.
I can see that reebook hiding under all of the other stuff very well. It possible it might have been used only on certain nights to add more insulation to keep Tyler warmer. There were some cold as hell nights out there.
I have a theory on the vest. . well camo jacket. . maybe inaccurate but when i got mine fresh out of the box. . it was too damned “PRETTY” too shinny too green. . i gave it a once over with some spray rit BLACK dye. . let it hang out out side in the rain for a few weeks now actually. . and now its a VERY NICE darket yet unmistakable weathered green Camo. . at night its almost BLACK!!! BUT in daylight or even low lighting you can see its disctincive olive and drab greens. .
the premier prop auction prop even somwhat matches the color. . so i think the camo it self needs some tinting. .
Now im looking at dickies hooded jackets lol. . . i need to see how it fits compared to my large nogin. . ive tried similar styles before and the damn thing looked more like scout in some kind of little girl hoodie. . maybe the dickies is larger. .
I have the liner a dusting of charcoal and some spray CLEANER “AWESOME” WITH a touch of RIT black dye. . it gave it a VERY nice color!!
I just recieved some stage blood from daper cadaver. . im in the provess of converting my ROT “SURPRISE” number1 into a H1 rot then to a h2. . HOSPITAL SCENE. . using HSS MASK BLOOD. . this should pair nicely with my daper cadaver safety fire axe!

Could anyone here point me to the right direction for a flannel jacket that is red/black plaid? I’m not looking for accuracy since no one is going to see it, and it can be one of those long sleeved flannel shirts since I already have the lining ready to be sewed in. I’ve looked EVERYWHERE, and it just seems as though they don’t exist anymore.
