Halloween III Re-Issue Masks Info.

Hey all,
I’ve gotten lot’s of PM’s since I went to Monsterpalooza asking if Don Post said anything about the re-issue H3 masks. I talked to him for about 15 about it and it’s no big secret so this is what he said :smiley:

This is exactally what he said to me, but those of you who know him and are close with him prob have much more information than I do. He said at the end of this year, he will be releasing a limited edition set. He would not quote any kind of price range at all…believe me I pushed for some kind of ballpark but he wouldn’t budge. He said they will be made in the USA and right now he’s working on licensing issues with them so I can assume they will prob be from SSN or something. He said he will not make them in his studio for various reasons, so he has to have them done elsewhere.
For the 2012 Halloween season he will release the mass produced trio which is what you see in all of the pics. They will be $30 each and available from Spirit Halloween Stores to Party City to Wal-Mart or anyone else that carries Halloween Masks and will not be limited in any way. They will be made in China and the Skull and the Witch will Glow. I sure wish we didn’t have to wait until 2012, but Oh well.

BTW- Regarding the new masss produced Myers by Don Post, at the end of this year…a limited edition Deluxe will be released and the mass produced comes out Halloween 2012 season.

Aw.I wish we ddnt ave to wait until next year. If the mass produced ones are going to retail for $30, Im going to guess that the limited set will be a minimum of $50 - $75. If I can get one of the limited sets for $150, Ill bite.

Yeah I seriously think we have high hopes though :unamused: . Look at the SSN Signature Series. I’m sure these will be pretty much the same thing.

Man I will have to pick up the limited set if I can get it under $200,I cant wait.I hope the prices arent like SSN,like $150-200 each is just kind of ridiculous.

I figured what the hell. I offered him $220 for the three he had there on the table. He looked at me like he was going to hit me and didn’t say anything. I didn’t find him to be one of the most personable fellows :open_mouth: :axe:

I’m a little confused, he said they will be made in the use and then he also goes on to state they will be made in china. The only thing I can make of this is this. They will be sculpted in the U.S.A then the molds will be shipped to China to be mass produced, is this what he meant to say?..Dean

Thats what i was thinkin! ha :laughing: I’ll def. get the trio! :rock: But, that myers mask…i’ve taken dumps that look better than that thing! :unamused: :laughing:

First time poster…

I’ll be picking up the H3 trio… but that Myers mask just looks like a Don Post 2006 deluxe with a new paint job and the eyebrows ripped off :laughing: :laughing: :laughing:

looling foward to the skull and witch and glad don post is making these again but yeah not the easiest booth to shoot the breeze at lol

i think from what i heard is the limited edition will be made and release in the usa and next year mass produced will be made in china and sold everywere in 2012

now what im not sure if the mass produced in china will come close to the ones on the table… hopefully

all info i got was word of mouth and like myers sd said dp didnt release to much info

Exactally right.
Limited Edition = USA
Mass Produced = China

OH and yes…he said the Mass Produced are just like the ones on the table. When I asked what is special about the Limited Editions other than USA made, again…it was like pulling teeth and he would not say. Hopefully someone that knows him or has more info will chime in

the h3 masks look pretty decent but it looks like don post still has some work to do before they truly have an accurate h1 mask.
