For those that didn’t read the script, yes, you absolutely should’ve put a warning there. There are two segments of this that blatantly gives away an important scene that hasn’t been spoiled in any trailer or TV spot
some ppl dont watch that stuff though but still like to come here to talk…is it wise to come here with everything out prob not…but this is suppose to be spoiler free discussion
Hete are a few rumors about “Halloween Ends” from the web:
We learn that Allison finds out that Laurie caused the bus crash in 2018.
After learning how Lindsey escaped Michael in KILLS, she believes the only way to stop him is to drown him. Unfortunately, Laurie drowns in the process.
Allison is on her way to college two to four years after “Halloween Kills”.
She then learns of a cult of Michael’s followers who are responsible for a string of murders.
Fearing she will be the next target, she prepares to deal with the cult, only to discover it is not only the cult that is after her, but Michael himself.
The firefighter massacre is one of the sequences that I am most excited about. It looks absolutely brutal and awesome. To anyone who’s actually seen the movie, can you please describe to me what happens? I’ve read the script and it sounds great, but I’m very curious to know how it plays out onscreen. Feel free to PM me the details if you don’t want to spoil it here.
Not hyped about that scene, doesn’t fall in line with the Myers character of Halloween I and II who was stealthy and didn’t murder groups of people at once.
This falls into the same post HII tropes that almost ruined the franchise.
One of the the devices used in the first two is Michael evading the authorities in ways that would upset the audience or make them go “he’s right there!”, being right under their hair, such as:
-In Halloween I, Myers station wagon turns as Dr. Loomis looks around after informing Sheriff Brackett about Michael Myers. a hair away from getting caught by Loomis
–In Halloween II right after Michael Myers gets away after getting shot out the balcony, Loomis almost catches him, Myers hides right behind alley wall right before Loomis could properly look down the alleyway until he’s distracted by Sheriff Brackett, again a hair away from getting caught by Loomis.
I can see what you are getting at. The Michael in the original was supposed to be stealthy and phantom-like. In the newer movies he is more like Jason Voorhees.
