Here they are under accent lighting. You can see with just a change of lighting what it does for them. Lots of potential in these masks.
The potential is there no question what so ever. Rezamp, Kasts and 7’s work diffently prove that. You got some nice copies. Can’t wait to see your 3rd copy. It might be a grail.
What’s funny is my copy looks like a mixture of both of yours. Lol
Yeah I think some copies might just look worse than others due to poorly taken pictures. Not to say there aren’t bad ones out there, but for example those yellow areas don’t stick out nearly as much when looking at the masks in person. The camera seems to really highlight that aspect, when in reality it’s not nearly that bright or noticable.
Mine has what I call the 5 blood dots where the needle hole area is.
And that little unpainted dash in the bottom lip. Part of the sculpt or flaw??

The mask I had on order directly from TOTS has come in, so now we have 3 of these to compare. The one directly from TOTS is on the far right.
A sizing note, the one directly from TOTS fits the most snug of the 3. Its almost skin tight, but still completely wearable, where as some of the 2018 masks are so tight thats it’s uncomfortable.
The copy from the Comic-con still fits the best, the one from Collector’s Row fits slightly more snug, and this one directly from TOTS fits the most snug. It’s really all due to the varying thickness between each mask.
So just keep that in mind, that if you are concerned about size you will have to find a batch to choose from and try on.
Paint job on this 3rd one is still in the ballpark of the other two, so it has really not been bad in that department.

So there you have it, 3 copies of this mask from 3 different shops to ensure they aren’t from the same stack/batch. This should pretty much cover any differences you will come across with these masks.
There is a size difference issue due to varying thickness. The difference is minor, but it will be a factor for those concerned. None of these are as tight as some of the 2018 copies, but they aren’t a loose fit either.
Paint work varies, but seems to be in the ballpark across the different copies. The actual shape of the mask has slight differences across the board as well, mainly due to how it was stored. If a copy seems warped or off, you can probably fix that issue by stuffing it then taking a hair dryer to it to restore it’s shape.
Hopefully this ultra in depth review of 3 different copies answers most peoples questions.
