I’d be happy to see the film either way.
Luckily I have a B&B theater near me, which is where I last went to see both H40 during 2018 and 78 HalloweeN last year.
LOL, this is going to hurt AMC a lot more than it is Universal. AMC is already the filthiest movie theater around me, and I prefer to go to the Marcus that’s a little further away. Also, movie theaters charge a fortune, so there’s already incentive for VOD. Frankly, VOD and streaming is becoming more and more popular every day. It’s where we’re headed.
Regal theaters has now joined AMC
People are just getting crazy from the corona crisis.
Agreed. the original release date was Oct 16 I hope the theaters are open by then.
I dont care if Paul Ruebens it beating off in the chair behind me I need to see the new movie on the big screen
Yeah, I’ll not be watching it on VOD unless every single cinema in my vicinity isn’t showing it. It’s a NECESSITY for me to see it on the big screen!
Good…idiots that went to see 2018 ruined it for me. I’d rather watch on my massive projector at home
I have one of those too!
i said this exact same thing on the fb group and totally agree…nothing but people laughing and talking…got a projector ready to roll
Happens a lot these days. People go to the movies to laugh over a specific scene or a bad actor. Not that certain parts of this or that movie aren’t laughable, but it totally ruins the experience for viewers like us.
Saddly, this happened during my first viewing of the 2018 movie as well. Might be the reason why I really started liking it only after a third viewing on DVD or so.
edit: Recently I started visiting theatres when I’m off during Monday and when other people are at work. There is almost none there and I guarantee you none is going to laugh when there are 3 viewers present, because what these people want is the attention of the rest of the audience over their stupid comments.
I fully enjoyed movies like Annabelle 3 or Child’s play and this the way I’m going to see the new Halloween as well.
I went to the first viewing a matinee around 12:30 somewhere around noon.
Including me there was less than 10 of us in total. not one person made a peep.
maybe its different in canada, you could have heard a moth fart while the movie was going
