Halloween mask rotten 2026

I got my Halloween 1981 mask from Spirit of Halloween

Cost me 79

Haven’t even worn it yet and the neck is starting to crack and rotting.

Idk where spirit storage the makes after Halloween throughout the year

Because they need to be a free replacement after a two year buy

So you bought the mask two years ago?

Last year it’s not hot in my room nor in light

I have it perfect mask stuff to keep it ls shape which idk if its defective or a bad mask I don’t have much luck this is my second one Im saying that spirit of Halloween :jack_o_lantern:

Should give you a replacement if you got a defective mask from them within the 2 years of you buying it

I have a first run Kills mask that is in severely late stages of dry rot. Meanwhile, I have other TOTS masks that are far older than the Kills mask that are just as supple as when I bought them. All were kept in the same conditions since I acquired and refinished them. TOTS uses cheap latex, to be sure, but it’s absurd to think that a company owes you a replacement for an item made with natural materials that was likely on retail display and in storage for two or three years before you bought it.

That’s like leaving a steak in your freezer for four or five years and demanding a replacement or refund when it inevitably gets freezer-burned.

Buy another one. They’re not expensive.

Yes very much you got a good point

I wont but latex masks from Spirit anymore. It’s been super hot here in IL the last week or so & our Spirit seems to not have a working AC. Masks are just sitting in all that heat. Plus TOTS masks are from Mexico right? Just think about the hot ride in the back of that box truck in the summer heat. No thanks. Just my take as of late

Makes perfect sense. All my made in Mexico masks from TOTS have rotted and died. Not one has survived. I wont be buying them anymore. The latex justin uses on his creep masks are by far superior

I really do appreciate Trick or Treat for their wide variety of masks. Just wish they’d step up the latex quality. I do spray all of mine with Plasti dip when I first get them. It can’t hurt! :smiling_face_with_sunglasses::+1:

Even with plastidip mine have all gone to hell ! Maybe I’m just unlucky!
