I just read the original Halloween Novelization. Myers actually doesn’t wear the mask in the book. wonder why they changed it?
Whaaaaat? No way… I’ve never read it. I’m currently reading the 2018 version and the mask is in it. He’s not complete until he puts it on.
Really, that’s really odd. Like what was the particular line that said he doesn’t wear it?
Nice. I was wishing the other night they’d reprint the original book to go along with the new novel.
Most times I see it used online it’s over $100.
When I was a kid I had the original novel, and the novels for Nightmare on Elm Street 1, 2, 3 (that were combined into one book), and the novel for Friday the 13th part 6,…and now I can’t find any of them. Bummer.
sorry, he DOES wear a mask… but not his Shatner mask.
In the book, it’s described as white, with blue around the eyes, red lips and a zig zag on the cheek.
I haven’t read the novelization in years and regret selling my copy. Not sure why the difference between book and film but the FX team had a few masks to choose from and thank God they made the right choice.
Can anybody who’s read the new 2018 Novel answer for me whether it’s any different than the movie? Worth a buy?
