This is a cool piece I recently received that is a replica of the Phelps Garage truck seen in Halloween. My friend Erik Arndt did up this awesome 1:24 replica to perfection! This old '58 is a Chevrolet Task Force Apache (a 1958 Chevrolet Task Force was also used later in H4 but it was the “Viking” version) and has been repainted/weathered by Erik to look nearly identical to the Phelps Garage truck in Halloween.
We see this truck in Halloween during the scene where Loomis stops at a phone booth near some railroad tracks to make the warning call to the Haddonfield Sheriff’s office that Myers is coming to wreak havoc. After he gives his dire warning he notices the Phelps garage truck parked a few yards away. Michael’s hospital clothes are hanging in a bush to the left and on the trucks ajar door. Loomis sees a pack of matches on the ground with the Rabbit in Red logo, picks them up and rushes back to his car. The camera then pans up ahead and to the left revealing the dead mechanic Michael has “liberated” his coveralls from.
