Not that it’s a terribly big deal, but for completionists…here’s a heads up.
I just pre-ordered the H8 Blu Ray which releases 4/17 & Wal-Mart.com currently has it listed for $7.50 plus under $2.00 shipping when everywhere else has it listed for like $15 or more.
I think this is going to be just like the H20 Blue Ray, which was culled from the Canadian triple feature blue ray of H6-H8, and that is bare bones.
They have them at best buy for $8…i bought mine about a week or so ago lol
Oh and it has EVERYTHING on it that was included on the DVD 
Echo Bridge is putting this out and they are using masters from the DVD release so don’t expect anything super clean; they did the same thing with Halloween 6 and Halloween H20, they used the DVD masters instead of creating new transfers.
I expected nothing more than bare bones for under $10. It’s too bad, the later Halloweens could be spruced up quite a bit with extras. The divimax editions of H4 and H5 are awesome. If only we could get blu rays like that with true 1080p versions.

Got mine today from Best Buy for 7.99. Shocked cause I didn’t even know this was coming out. Not my favorite but I guess its nice to have on blu-ray. Plus I think Brad Loree did a good job with Michael Myers. Alittle grainy in parts so definitely not the best transfer. I really hope they do 4 and 5 justice with great picture and sound!

If you click on “user reviews” in the second link, it got a really bad review, because it was supposedly “cut”.
I saw this a while back but if I’m correct these are cut (censored) versions from what I heard.

I have the Echo Bridge H20 Blu-ray release, and thought the picture quality was alright. Is this Resurrection release the same? Also, I believe H20 was only 2.1 sound, is this 5.1?
I have the H20 one too and like the quality. A little better I think. Resurrection is good but very grainy throughout. I’m watching on a 1080p HDTV 60 Hz so it may look better on newer sets.
Man, two things I forgot about H8 that make me cringe:
How bad Busta and Tyra are. They make me grit my teeth!
How bad the technology was. I really think the cellphones, internet, cams all look dated even for 2002. I expected to see dial-up in this by how they interpet it!

Hooked up my blu-ray to a 120Hz HDTV and the picture definitely looks worse for H8. Popped in H20 for comparison and while its still not great, it does fair better than H8.
And yes, H8 is English 5.0 audio.
I thought Resurrection was a pretty bad movie! It’s along the lines of what you see on the SyFy channel (like a SyFy original movie or something).
Tyra and Busta make it a joke, and I agree with you on the technology used in the film. Overall, I think Halloween 1-7 were actually good, but Resurrection felt like it was “made for TV/straight to video” (which it was I think).
Some parts were fun, but the beginning of the movie (after Jaime Lee Curtis, but before the fun starts) was hard to watch.
And the plot stinks!
Thats the problem. There is no plot. After they finished the Laurie Strode story in the first 10 minutes it’s like they didnt know what to do. I mean, I get it. HE came home. But the whole reality internet crap was stupid. It was not “Halloween”. They completely forgot that Laurie had a son. Wouldnt it make sense for Michael to then go after him?
Such a wasted oppertunity.
I totally forgot about Laurie’s son. It would have been interesting to see Josh Hartnett reprise his roll after H20. Instead, we got a terrible movie followed by the Rob Zombie remakes (which I also dislike).
