Just had a question… hopefully someone knows the answer…
Was the screen used RZ’s Halloween part 1 myers mask, made out of really thin latex… I just recently bought a RZ mask from a well known mask maker and it was super thin(damn near paper thin)… I emailed him to let him know that I thought the mask was really thin, and he replied saying “the movie masks were thinner than the masks I make, paper thin actually. I make them thin purely for accuracy, but a lot of customers I guess don’t know that the movie masks were paper thin.”
Is that statement above true?
thanks!
This should be in the RZ section but anyways yes the RZ H1 Hero was very thin and in fact would fold on a display stand,my Buried does that exact thing also, its ballooooooon thin
here and its an early run from 1971 and Della Torre before the Buzznets came along.

Yeah, I agree with Anthony. All the behind the scenes footage I’ve seen of the hero from RZ’s H1 shows the mask to be very thin. Also if you recall when Michael first donned the mask in Halloween 2007 (where he retrieved it from under the floor) you could see the mask had a very thin quality to it in that scene.
Sounds like you probably scored a great accurate piece!
Like the other 2 said above. The H1 Hero is thin.
AWESOME GUYS! Thanks for the info!!!
