I’ve been seeing some youtube videos about a rumored
TV show for halloween being talked about and Michael Myers being the main character. Supposedly saying it’s gonna be related to DDG Trilogy. I dont see how now that michael’s dead, dead dead. Like they threw him in a ***** grinder (still cant believe they did that) and now their talking about a tv show related to that timeline with michael as the main i dont see how thats gonna work but of course no matter what im gonna watch it snd enjoy it for what it is but i really they hope they do this right if their gonna do it, it kinda makes me nervous.
I really hope not. Never liked that idea since first hearing about it

Good god, I hope not on all counts. A TV Show, in this day and age? No thanks. The time for a TV show was the 90s. But now? Hell no. And it being connected to the DGG trilogy? Again, heeeeell no. That would be dreadful.
I hope Halloween stays theatrical and they release a new movie every 2-4 years. No more of this 5-10 years between movies nonsense.
I agree to a certain extent it depends on the channel source. Most videos say this came from a somewhat reputable article although i didn’t look it up for myself and read this is just what multiple horror channels on yt made a video about

If, for the sake there was a Halloween TV series coming out, and it was directly canon to the DGG trilogy, including Myers as the main character:
There’s a number of things they could do.
- Series set with Myers as a child in Smith’s Grove (Least likely, although flashbacks could be likely)
- Series set in the mental hospital Myers was incarcerated for 40 years, involving Sartain
- Series exploring the 4 year time gap between KILLS and ENDS (Most likely. That’s 4 years of story. 4 Halloweens. New characters. Myers being loose “in the wild”. There’s a lot a writer could come up with in that time period.)
While I don’t believe a series is coming out until we have an official announcement, I will say, I for one would be a fan of getting more of DGG’s Halloween. I love the story, I love the franchise, and I’d find it very exciting to look forward to. (If it’s filmed and written well.)
Youtube rumors though? Eh. Probably nothing.
