Handiboy Studios: CoverMan Limited edition Mask

Hey Everyone

Today I had the pleasure of stopping by the shop to see Mr. Nick Mulpagano, known by most as The Handiboy I walked down into the shop and I couldn’t even fathom what I was looking at…sitting on his Mannequin was this evil looking Mask that was frankly jaw dropping. The BRAND NEW “COVERMAN” PROTOTYPE MASK.

This thing in person is THEE spookiest Myers Mask I’ve ever laid eyes on. It is part of the create your own proto program Nick Offers. Lee Lawrence came up with the idea to paint the mask to look exactly how we see the Mask on the Halloween 4 cover poster, using the mask more as canvas. The Mask is limited to 20 copies and there will not be any more made after that this way from Nick.

Nick has really done something special here and I think he deserves some praises and credit for doing such a killer job. As mentioned by other certain underrated sculpts such as castle mask, the H78, & The HalloweenMan, etc etc really do shine, and when the are brought to life like this It makes many appreciate them much more. The Base is obviously the Halloweenman…but it to me and to many who have already see this…it looks like a completely different mask…It reminds me allot of the Rare & The Psycho proto displayed in the gallery. Painted like this it brought out all the details, features & sharp accuracies that went into making this sculpt pretty damn close to how we see the hero.

It’s photographs perfectly and just oozes what many see as The Image of Michael Myers. I cannot wait to put the # 20 into my collection and on display. Hope you enjoy the pics and video…sorry about the loudness of the auto-focus on the camera CHEERS TO NICK

Wow! The eye cuts and paint job are amazing! When I squint my eyes slightly to blur out the background it looks exactly like the cover. The paint job must take a long time for these, it’s so intricate.

this is the first mask to come from the PROTO PROGRAM. Example of howthe program works- you sign up to the program for a fee. You design a mask using the HALLOWEENMAN or NHK as your base to work from…you give me your ideas and we toss them around and come up with a concept…THEN I GO TO WORK AND BRING YOUR IDEA TO REALITY.
1- You keep the proto
2- you get a DVD of the making of your mask
3- you decide if you want your mask to be one of a kind, or go into production to part of the handiboy mask line
4- you can set a limited amount of copies to be made
5-you name your mask
6-you have the option to buy production mask #1
7-you receive a royalty if your mask is in production

Congrats Nick and Lee! I think this is a VERY COOL program to offer and am looking forward to jumping in @ some point Nick, I’ll get back to ya on that brother.
The sculpt is very very cool and the pics are great. Nothing better than adding another white mask to our family and a limited one to boot!

Just wanted to pop in and congratulate everyone who got in on this very special run. Certain masks definitely stand out from others, and this one really fits the bill. Nick did a phenomenal job on this limited edition mask. The paint, the cuts and the premium hair just completes it perfectly, and brings the sculpt to life, Bravo POPS!!

I agree Bob!! Allot of evilution in there for sure It may be sold out but there’s still endless ideas to start another Proto idea! The HALLOWEENMAN is perfect canvas. I have a few ideas I’m gunna pitch to Nick!!
