Happy Father’s Day to all you dads out there. I’m grateful to be celebrating my first as a dad this year. Thought I’d share this shot of my son and I from last weekend where I got to model the “ID” mask for James Mangrum, aka, “TheSomnambulist”.
Adorable man! Yeah my boy is already turning 5, can’t even believe it’s been that long already! The time just flies by, cherish the moments!

I had to wish my mom a Happy Father’s Day, but I’m grateful that she’s been here, and to all of you on this site who ARE fathers, thank you. Thank you for being a part of your child’s life. When they’re older, they’ll be incredibly grateful that you were.
Hey what can you tell us about the I.D. mask? Does it have more detail than what we see in the picture?
I can comfortably say that it does, in fact, have more detail than photos let on. And that I really, really like it. I’ve personally watched James slave away on this sculpture for a couple of years now, and perfecting it to the best of his abilities. I think customers will be pretty blown away by the work he’s put in to not only the sculpture, but also the finishing.
Oh, and the last thing I can tell you is that it’s not actually “I.D.” (as initials) but the word “Id” or “ID”. Check out the link below to learn a bit about it’s meaning.

Do you know what kind of latex James will be using for this mask? Will it be a Monster Maker’s RD-407, Mabry Monster’s RD-407, something similar to medical grade latex like Nikos?
