Has any of you read the novel based on the newest Halloween movie?

It’s on my reading list, as soon as I finish some other books. I would like to hear your opinions.

I’m talking about the book written by John Passarella.

It’s very close to the movie actually I enjoyed it more before all the deleted scenes came out because most the extra in the book are the deleted scenes that I remember. I read the book right when the movie came out in theaters after watching the movie and it really could been written while watching the movie imo.

I thought it was good. Like JSR mentioned, it’s got all of the deleted scenes incorporated into it, which is cool to me. It also has small details in it that kind of paint a scene and puts you in the characters shoes better than the film does

I have the book and audio book. I didn’t care for the actor who read the audio book. While the story is good, her delivery lacked some dynamic qualities when switching between character voices. She did a decent Sartain, oddly enough.
