What’s most important though is you have to be fair. It’s hard for me to accept my wife wanting to buy a $700 purse but I have to being that I have more than that invested in masks. It goes both ways.

No no, it’s not that and she will give you a decent reason…If she sets her feet sideways & crosses her arms & gives you a funny look…Either prepare for a few tears or for her to call you a few names & walk away… This would be the girl you do not marry.
Depends on what the deal is, if your living with her and your bills aren’t being paid because of your masks then thats one thing.
If all your bills and family come first, then she should except that masks make you happy.
Like Jon said, if collecting is financially preventing you from paying bills, putting food on the table, etc. Of course, it’s probably a good idea to cut back. Otherwise, you should never allow anyone, whether it be a spouse, family member, or other judgmental outsiders to prevent you from enjoying a hobby that makes you happy.
My girlfriend and I have basically been together 7 years now, and my collecting has never once been an issue. Hell, if NOT collecting or the hobby in general, it’s very likely that the extra spending cash I do have wouldn’t exist. (Seeing as how the forums are the main gateway to do business)
On a lighter note, if she does have a problem with your collecting, make a compromise and tell her to cut back on shoes. Let’s see what she has to say about that
