Putting my foot down! Lol i know a few others experience this from time time,so what are some of your excuses?
Not sure I’m following, but to me there is a significant difference between girl (girlfriend) and wife. I don’t think a girlfriend has a leg to stand on.
a girlfriend doesn’t count and a wife should be reasonably understanding…and if by chance she tries not to be, I haven’t met a woman to date that doesn’t collect shoes like a bad habit…most women have shoes…you’re a part of the population that has masks…so actually neither side should be trying to throw stones.)
Don’t let this girl force you to change who you are and what you’re into.
I’ve been told a few times, by non-girlfriends I might add, that it’s weird to have a full-scale Michael in my living room but why? Have you seen some of the crap that “normal” people have in their houses lol?
I will never understand why certain things are socially acceptable while others aren’t, a girl can have little statues of things all over but they’re going to give me grief for my collection of masks? Some people have large cigar store Indians and ugly ass art sculptures in their house but a full-scale Myers is “weird”?
My advice is keep your collection right where it is.
No girl is going to dictate to me. It’s not happening. I’ll do what I want, when I want. Life is too short.

I agree with the comments here. Don’t get rid of your collection for any girl, ever. As long as your collection is well organized and not blocking entrances to rooms in your house then she has no reason to complain. For every girl that complains there is another that would think it’s so cool that you own all that stuff. 
Trade her in for a 99 Shat 
I came to an agreement with my fiance that I was done collecting once my new h8 from wmp arrives. Not only is this a good move for my finances It is also good for the fact that I am running out of room. We also have a wedding to start planning and saving money for that.
I’m pretty lucky as my wife loves the ghost kind of scary movies so anything I get she at the very least says thats cool and since I’ve gotten a few Myers masks she always wants to try them on.
I agree with what everyone else says which is put your foot down otherwise she will always try to control all aspects of your life. Now if she pays for everything then wear all the pink polo’s she asks you to. 
In all honesty, if the girl you’re seeing can’t accept your interests, you’re in for a pretty bumpy ride, sir.
You need to be with someone who accepts you for who you are. My wife doesn’t care for my masks but she knows she doesn’t have to, they make me happy and she supports me being happy. People in relationships need to have different interests and hobbies. If you were exactly alike and had all the same interests you would hate each other.
If she doesn’t like who you are, getting rid of all your masks isn’t going to change that. Introduce her to the curb and find someone else, life is to short to be with someone who doesn’t accept you. You’ll have a lot of girlfriends, and maybe even a few wives, in your life but the longest relationship you will ever have is with yourself. Don’t short change yourself to please someone else, you’ll regret it.

I second that!! A toast to all the girlfriends and wife’s that accept us and our obsession/hobby that drives us here as a family as well. I was fortunate enough to have a GREAT wife that actually helps me set out my Life-sizes during Halloween just to enjoy the responses of others. Keep looking brother, she’s out there and if you have to make room for a new addition to your family then we can all agree that’s understandable as many of us have been down that path but it’s just making room and not giving it all up
VERY well said. Never give up something to please someone. Or tell her to get rid of all her makeup, straighteners, curlers, ect and see how fast she give you the big “WHAAAAT!?”
It’s hard to find someone that actually truly accepts this kind of hobby. I can’t count how many times a girl has asked how much I gave for a certain high value mask & when I tell them the price they look at me like I belong in a nut house. Or the most annoying people saying “your obsessed with michael Myers” “you paid that much for a mask!” Blah blah, shut up.
