I just ordered a Halloweenman with a wait time of 6-7 months. It was between the HM or DR for me and I kept coming back to the Halloweenman. Don’t think we can go wrong either way. If you don’t mind, please post some pics when you get yours. It would be great to hear your feedback.
Funnily enough i emailed Nick yesterday as its been 5 months since i ordered from him, he replied saying ive got another month or 2 to wait still and to email in a month for a update lol.
The Dead Ringer would probably be your best bet, you could even ask Nick yourself.
for H1 Halloweenman or NHK are the most accurate IMO
I love Nick and have spent over $200 on his stands but haven’t found a perfect H1 sculpt that does it for me. However. I think the Dead Ringer makes an amazing H2 and the Halloweenman can make a proper H1 it just depends on the finish. Some people really love all of his sculpts so it really is just preference. Just make sure you send Nick reference photos to work with for the eyecuts
I can’t agree more, I really don’t find much accuracy in his works, and I really find that his masks are created in his own image (don’t know if you noticed the same thing, his Myers masks really look a lot like him), but for the price he makes some nice masks, very particular.
Definitely agree man! I tend to love the unique sculpts with the Maniac being my favorite, but they are over-emphasized intentionally if that makes sense? Like the Maniac Justin intentionally made look more menacing like the H4 Cover mask. I just feel for screen-accuracy, the Handiboy masks don’t do it for me (besides the DR '81). Just a bit too over detailed in my eyes. I do love his Coverman interpretation but he hasn’t put out an H1 that I could put side by side with a Shat or Shape78 you know?
yeah I agree, and again I think Nick’s masks look a lot like “himself” more than screen MM, don’t know if it’s made on purpose, possibly yes, not sure if you guys already noticed this detail or if I’m the first to mention that.
I will say I will get a blank from him for a conversion. If he still makes the Kirk “Captain”, you can definitely get something from that 
Sounds like he’s more behind than I originally thought. I’m hoping to get it before Halloween. Fingers crossed.
