HELP! Researching film props : H1,2,4,5,6,H20,8,H!,H2

Well, this has exploded on me LOL I’ve now decided to put together an informational document on all kinds of props/items from the different Halloween movies that people, like me, are interested in but don’t know how to or what to get…and instead of people always asking the same questions for help, or doing hours of research as many have, I think it would be great for us to all come together and share what we know, and I’ll put it all together for everyone to utilize…so please hit me up with anything you know…and if you got something I’m not listing, hit me up on it too!! :slight_smile:

ok, i’ve spent HOURS trying to find any information on many things, and I keep editing this list as I get info on stuff, so please help me if you know something…

H1 1978:

  • Any Haddonfield things…
  • Police Badges/Patches
  • Smith’s Grove things

  • hand-held cultivator (tool Myers uses to kill dude with Camaro)…size, style, info (I’ve found similar but to current)

H6:

  • anything dealing with the Ruins…

H20:

  • info on the old car Michael steals from the rest stop (scale replica)
  • info on the school uniform, especially where to buy parts…burgundy 3 button blazer, dress shirt, tie

H8:

  • web cam (cheap, any kind as it just represents the concept, not a prop…non-functioning even better as it’s for display)
  • ideas???

Rob Zombie’s H1:

  • patches for coveralls (2 of 'em right? anyone make them?
  • baseball bat Young Mikey beats sister’s boyfriend to death with …brand, size, etc

I can’t thank you all enough for any help you can give me in taking this project on to help us all…i’ve been looking these things up for hours and days and weeks, and i just really need help, and I hope someone can give me just a little bit even LOL

Hello,
If I’m remembering correctly the camaro was a '67 or '68 convertible. And I’m not real sure on the year but (again, If I’m remembering right) the car In h2o was a 70-72 oldsmobile cutlass. That’s all I know. Hope It helps.

H5 was definitely a '67 Camaro convertible.

I could of sworn the H20 was a ‘72 Buick Skylark.
I had a bunch of this stuff I researched on my old computer that crashed.
Like Loomis’ gun being a S&W K-38 Masterpiece.

Sorry man, It was a buick. I watched It again last night.

The car in H5 was a 1967 Camaro convertible. It was a dark metallic blue with black interior. I think the hood was a low profile and the rims were after market.

I got one of these that are 1:24 scale and they look really good:

I think Swamp’s right on the 72 Buick Skylark as well. By the way Chase…I’d love to have seen a list of that research man! I’ve been at it awhile myself but got frustrated and gave up.

I think the ambulance was one of the Superfast E-11’s. I can’t recall if that was for HII or H4 or both but I THINK this is correct. I picked up one and it looked good all but the top sirens. Mine was just a matchbox replica from the early 80’s but it looked decent. There’s one on ebay now:

As far as the syringe in H6 I like the glass 30cc ones with a 3 inch needle. They look big and mean just like what Michael held!

As far as Laurie’s meds, you can just find some old empty prescription models and try to mimic this:

Syringe - Vintage Glass Syringe either 10, 15 or 20 cc will work for a display. Needle must be at least 2 inches to 3 inches to give off the right effect. Occasionally on ebay. Something like this

You are looking for a glass syringe that has the metal luer instead of slip tip. Newer models can be purchased on sites like this

I believe Loomis had a 38 cal.(?) definately a six shot! " I shot him six times! "
