Hey all.
I decided to browse ebay for myers masks, seeing what they had and saw this. It was a mask that I believe was made from scratch and was being sold. Now I have to say that this looks amazing. I could never do or create something as amazing on this. But I honestly think it looks off from the original movie and I’m not sure why. I asked my girlfriend and she can’t seem to say why either.
So I’m here to ask some experts. Does it seem slightly off? Is it the nose? Now again, I mean no harm. It’s an amazing mask and I could never make something as good as this, I’m just thinking about it and I just need an answer.

Answers you seek? well,cracks fingers alright lets have gander, shall we? it’s just a bit too long in the face, and its just all subtle little things; cheeks, nose , chin , forehead, eyes (are a bit too big) eyebrows (shapes are slightly different) ears , mouth placement ( a bit too far down from nose) and bottom lip as well as the hairline, are slightly off. Nose has a weird bridge thing in the center at eyebrow height. Think its the nose chin /cheeks , hairline and bottom lip that throw it off the most. But thats just my 2 cents looking at it . Not a bad mask, def has its own charm to it. It’s just not what you want if you are diehard for screen accurate. Black and white photo kinda reminds me of the flashback mask. No disrespect meant to the artist either , just making observations/comparisons. Im sure most people won’t be able to tell the difference unless they are up close and personal scrutinizing it. Also wish i could make a mask from scratch even half as good as this.
As "simple " as it is , its still hard to replicate all the shapes and nuances. How much is it going for?

Thank you for the in depth comparison. I agree, it’s not a bad mask in any means I just needed to see what exactly was off cause it was bugging me, so thank you for that.
Its on ebay for $150, and although I’m not an expert on what the going rate for custom masks are, I honestly think it’s a good price. I mean I’ve seen more expensive ones (NAG, JC, although not saying it isn’t worth it).
