Here's why Michael Myers from 2018 and kills is my favorite

I fell in love with his withered mask in this trilogy. It’s the the pale cracked emotionless face, same with kills except the mouth on the charred side reminds me of a jack-o’-lantern, and I also love the hair on these masks, the iconic messy pompadour style with the matted curls, and the kills but with half of it burned to the mask it’s just awesome. And his outfit the baggier charcoal gray coveralls. And the longer collar that goes around his neck more makes him look cooler and more intimidating. And the way he moves like in the kitchen in HK when he turns grabs a knife and stabs the guy in the back and repeats. Or the way you see him walking in the background at the gas station in 2018 which is reminiscent of castle in the original. I just love him so much and just felt like talking about him.

So whoever else reads this, tell me who your favorite version of Michael is

The weathered mask looked good. Seems to fit the times especially after the Zombie films. However, the original mask can never be beat.

Nick Castle will always be the best Michael. The way he was directed by Carpenter in that original film cannot be matched. Having him appear in the background and the foreground, in and out of shots was what made that character. I don’t think any other director fully understood that when it came to the sequels.
