Hey guys, this is my first rz mask, it is a rzh2 mask from ebay. It was just £30 (around $50). There are bits of it that need touching up when i get my liquid latex because i painted the inside to hide a horrid smell and accidently got it on bits of the outer mask, eg, the nostrils. but it is really nice imo, take a look:
Not a fan, This is one of those cases where again I think you could have used the money paid for this saved up for another month and at the very least got one of the don post ones which to me are better than this. Not trying to rain on your parade or be a debbie downer, just being honest.
not confident enought to repaint and rehair, lol. thanks nosfuratu and ghoul for the nice words ! truehorror, there is nothing wrong with my masks, i like mass produced masks, end of story! If you don’t have a nice opinion then you don’t need to post do you? anyway, i have my eye on a nice h1 on the bay!
But thats just it, im not coming in here saying negative stuff just to be negative, I am coming in here trying to give you some friendly advice on how you can maximize your money to get the best product for yourself. What is it about this mask that you like so much??? Because I just dont see it.
i am sorry truehorror for getting onto you like that, i didn’t mean to, i have had some really deep family problems lately and i took it out on you, so sorry. I just like the mask, i thought others would too so i posted it
i had to think wether to post this or not because i didnt want to start any trouble or be taken the wrong way … but you did say “so tell me what you all think” and thats just what truehorror did … i dont think he was being negative i feel the same way … he didnt say there was anything wrong with your masks just if it was him he would of saved more money and got a better mask … but like you said you like mass produced masks so there ya go
No worries mtlongy, I dont take anything here personal. Sorry for your problems and hope things get better for you. I used to have an Old Don Post mask from way back when I thought it was okay at best, but knew it was pretty off. Once I discovered all the custom masks I made it a point to shell out for ONE great Classic Myers mask, I settled on the Haddonfield Slasher, when i got it I threw out the old one because it had yellowed andjust wasnt very good.
this was it my friend trying it on.
wish i had kept it would have just sent it to you.
Yeah I was just stating that for roughly 50 bucks you could have gotten something a bit more official looking. This one looks kinda slapdash and bootleg, if thats a look you like then no harm done, but I am just trying to find out WHY you like that look.
$50
I just reread the first post
$50
DUDE YOU SHOULD HAVE SAVED UP!!!
I know for some reason you say you like these mass masks
but I guarantee that if you just save for a little bit and get a good masks
you would be in the same boat we are in
just like everybody else I used to get these masks(LOOOONG AGO) till I got my first indy mask
now I WONT even look at a mass mask again
what your trying to do is get as many masks as you can
its all about quality not quantity
TRUST ME BRO
I know deep down you really dont like these things
I agree for $5o you could save a bit more and get a quality mask but then again starting off with the mass produced masks it gives you some room to bang them around; experiment and use and abuse them without any fear or guilt. Either way its a killer hobby!
i’ll be honest with you mylongy because thats what we do around here. now for alot of people its hard to justify spending $200 on a mask at one time. but $50 is 1/4 of a really good RZ myers mask. for the cost of 4 mass produced masks you could have a VERY nice replica mask. i’d say keep saving your money. you dont want to end up with a whole collection of mass produced masks.
Is that a Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas poster i see by the table? lol I LOVE THAT MOVIE!! “We’re in bat country!” Nice mask by the way man. Just kick it around on the basement or garage floor a bit to make it dirty and worn lookin without painting it.
