I will be in the market for a new mask in a couple months and I really like the Nightmare. Does Nikolas make these or someone else? There are so many great looking masks here! Im like a kid in a candy store!
Nik himself is the guy to ask, I suppose…but based on my understanding, he still has the mold and will make the mask for you…
I just asked him recently about a Nightmare blank.
He does still offer them for sure.

Truth be told the last nightmare blank I ordered a year or so ago was pretty terrible. I’d consider the retooled nightmare unlimited unless you can find an older pull of the original nightmare.

Was really rough and the details were washed out. Just wasn’t a crisp pull really
Nik just left today for his honeymoon and will be away for a month. The Unlimited must be the most accurate I have seen to date anyway.
This was a nightmare unlimited I had. Cool mask but this particular one was pretty small. Not sure if larger sizes are available.
I had one but had to sell mine also as it indeed was pretty small. Too bad because the pull was so smooth. That mask comes in several different sizes I believe.
Thanks for all the replies! I won’t bother him during his Honeymoon. Sounds like the Nightmare Unlimited is the way to go. I would need a 23 1/2" to. 24" though.

Sounds like you got a pull from an old mold. With each new mask that is pulled from a mold, a tiny amount of the cement is taken with it. Your mask was probably from a mold that was passed its used by date. I say that because I know Nik has the Nightmare master and it has great details. Not HMK great, but still good. I consider the Nightmare reshaped far superior to the Unlimited, in terms of form.
