It’s not done yet but I thought I would share some pics of what I had and of course maybe get some feed back since I am trying to figure out the best way to weather up the camo vest. I had a really hard time finding the flannel shirt which is not an exact match but no one will see it anyway. Here is what I have so far… Added some worn shots but still a work in progress! I am going to change a few things in hope that it makes it look a bit better… Still need to put the patches on the coveralls…
Thanks for the comment brother!! Yeah, I cut it. I have not got around to fixing it yet. I was wanting to shorten it up a bit instead of just buying another all together since I am trying to cut cost as much as possible. I noticed that the jacket he has on under the vest if I am seeing it right hangs past the bottom of the vest. With me beng a short guy anyway if I left it like it was and just got a jacket to hang past the bottom before I cut it I think it would not have looked as good…
I am going to dirty up the vest more and try and find a jacket like the one he wears in the movie… I hope I can find one without having to pay to much!!
Any luck on the coat? Apparently the Dickies TJ319 I bought are no longer in stock, so the site refunded my order. That leaves me a hoodie short, and the wool coats are expensive!
