Hole-Punching the back of a Latex Mask?

Hello everyone, I’m planning on cutting the back of a latex mask so I could fit my head in but I have a question: is their any specific type of scissors/snips needed when trimming up a latex mask? And what tool do you guys use when it comes to hole-punching the top of the trimmed line in the back of the mask?

I just use regular old sewing scissors, I use the same scissors to cut the hole at the top. As long as its one continous cut for the circle your fine you dont need a hole punch.

If theres a knotch or crack in the circle at the top the cut will tear further, just make a round hole w/ scissors in one cut

I use nail scissors (must be sharp) and a leather hole punch tool for the hole at the top of the slit.
