How Do You Protect a Sig

Hey everyone, I was just wondering what is a good method for protecting signatures on the insides of mask without damaging them?

Use good rubber cement usually thinned with a bit of naptha and sprayed over the signature

What is naptha? And where do I find it? Never heard of it before.

Naptha is a mixture of straight chained hydrocarbon-ethers, straight chained alkanes, as well as some aromatic hydrocarbons. You can find some online or i would imagine certain hardware stores…James should know as he told me.

Thanx Bro, I’ll check that out. :drinkers:

Just spray a light coat of clear plasti-dip over it and you’ll never have too worry about it again.

Now what is plasti-dip? I’ve never heard of that either, and where do you find that at?

Dont wear it  jk I have no idea.

exactly what i was gonna say, the easiest way of doing it. it is a rubber spray and you can get it in clear. alot of mask makers use it to seal paint so it doesn’t peel/ rub off so it would coat your signature and protect it
it is on ebay:

Thanx man, Yea, I was being lazy…

Yep, rubber cement from my experience actually takes a bite into the latex and becomes pretty much permanent property! I have used Plasti-dip over a few sigs in the past but I could see signes of it beginning to peel/wrinkle after lots of wear. It doesn’t bite into the latex as RC does, it sits on top. It’s still a good option though, especially if you don’t really wear your masks.

I sometimes spray it as Paul mentioned above but… you can even buy the cheap Elmers stuff and lightly brush over the sig with the included brush.

Works like a champ guys
