im kind of confused because i thought they used only one mask in halloween but in one picture on the set of the movie it clearly shows two masks so help on this question.
To my knowlege there was 3, the main mask and 2 oter masks used for stunts

well, those pics show 3 masks. So that would be one hero, one stunt mask and one backup. We know the hero was again used in HII, as was the stunt mask. But that leaves the backup mask. The backup could have been the mask burned in the end. So that still supports 3. But then theres the tramer, and the select couple rumored backup masks made for hII we have seen around, and the one don post made for the film as well. Considering tramer had kirky hair, and not dark hair, it wasnt a converted stunt or backup, so my guess is this
one hero
one stunt mask
one backup, fully converted
at least 2 backup kirks, un converted
bill malones converted kirk not used
though as for what ones were used in 78 id guess the 3 mentioned before, but considering the chances that there were in fact more on set, theres always the possibilty of more
