i HIGHLY reccomend mowing lawns, its how i bought all of my masks, and im comin along, slowly but surely, o and yard work too, that really does it good, like raking and cleaning gutters and physical stuff like that. hope that helps a little
There’s my point you bought alot of DVD’s and sleeping. Well where did you get the cash for that? Sounds to me your looking for sympathy pie. You will get none of that from me. That’s the problem instead of earning a dollar to get what you want you try to come up with easier ways. I gave you numerous ideas and than you turn around and say doing work makes you feel cheap! This guy should be out making money now instead he’s in here pissing and moaning! Just how old are you? You want a good mask work hard and earn the dollars and get one.

Hey buddy~~ Well, i know alot of us collectors are hard up for $$, so the best thing i can tell ya is to keep your eye out for blanks!! Sometimes, it was the ONLY way i could afford to land a wicked sculpt, without breaking the bank. The only problem for someone starting out, is that you have to get a smaller bottle of liquid latex to “cut” your paint with, because if you don’t, the paint you apply with no latex added will just crack and flake off. Then you’ll have to score a couple ounces of hair to hair him with. Most places on e-bay will sell ya more than you’d need for one mask, like 8 ounces or more, but if you want to build your collection with decent masks, you’ll have to invest a few $$ into some liquid latex and a few ounces of hair. That way, you can buy all the blanks you want for cheap-ish, and do the work yourself. It’s not as hard as it might sound, and i know there’s LOTS of great people on here that will help you through the painting and hairing process if you need any help!!!
Just a thought, worked for me on alot of higher end masks, and it WAY more satisfying to do the work yourself, trust me!!!:))
Ya know I felt the same way you do when I first started collecting 3 years ago when I was 17. I worked at McDonald’s and couldn’t afford shit. All I can tell you is be patient till you’re able to get a job that will allow you to afford better masks.

heey man, im 15 (bday was today, yay me) and i just got an awesome deal on a H2 Exposed mask for 60 bucks, so i say go to the classifieds, post a thread regarding you want to buy a myers mask and indicate how much you wanna shell out, i bet ya you will find some sick deals cause thats how i got such a sick mask with such lough dough.

anyone else starting to feel like we’re lost in the Twilight Zone? The thread started out with a point we could all relate to having been young and penniless at one point in our lives. Now? 
dude maybe ask a friend if you could have the mask delivered to his house so your parents won’t know. Then just tell them you traded with a buddy at school.
That’s what I did when I first got into props about 6 years ago.
As for masks, I was in your position once, and thought I’d NEVER have anything good for a collection. Now I’ve got about 11 masks in my collection so far, all from the past 2 years. I got a full time job for a year and a half after graduating (now full time college student), and spent it wisely by scoping out deals I could find.
Well here it is bro if you want it you got 1 day to decide and figure something out!
I think offering this is something you won’t see often at least not from me anyway!
