Just picked up a 78 ToTS and it’s super shiny and tough to get good lighting for photos, is there a quick way of getting it less shiny? Without a repaint?
A light coat of matte plasti dip spray should do the trick!

I wouldn’t use plasti dip. I’ve noticed it yellowing very badly on some of my masks. Get some Liquitex matte medium instead.
I was just going to ask the same thing. Love my Boogeyman other than the gloss.
Oh shit, that’s no good! Do you have any photos?

You can use one of those green pot/pan-scrubbers, its softer than steel wool, just light rub it over the surface of the mask to de-gloss the clearcoat. You dont apply barely any pressure, just lightly scuff the clearcoat. It will still still seal the paint but take off a thin layer or the gloss
Thanks my friend, gonna give this a try
I looked this up and there seem to be several different types of those scrubbers. Could you possibly post a photo of a good one? Just want to make sure I don’t get one that’s too rough. The ones I have under my sink right now are very rough and are probably not the right ones.
A magic eraser should do the trick. Sorry if the picture comes out big.
I normally use super fine steel wool, but these are what I tried when I ran out, they say heavy duty scour pads
Thank you!
