How to dye Big Mac coveralls?

Recently bought some navy blue vintage Big Mac coveralls to replace my olive wood Herringbone pair and I want to dye them a dark green for my H1 costume this year. I have no idea on how to dye these other then using RIT dye for it and I really need some information, if someone could give me some steps or a tutorial on how to dye some coveralls with RIT or any other product it would be much appreciated. :pumpkin: :pumpkin:

I dyed my spruce green Big Macs the other day. The green was a bit too light, I wanted them slight navyish. I used about a cup and a half of navy blue rit dye. Filled up a bucket of hot water and dumped the dye in there . Gave it a stir and then put the coveralls in. I timed it for 20 minutes and stirred occasionally. After 20 take them out and rinse them with only cold water. Then wash them on cold cycle ,i threw mine in the dryer after but you can avoid this step and drip dry them

Thank you! Would love to see some pictures of your Big Macs.
