Dumb question I’ve asked #100, if you were to wash the coveralls after putting on the screen used dirt n stuff they put on the actual coveralls (which is what? Thank you) would the effects go away after wash?
Use some sort of Black paint(I used acrylic through an airbrush) , or use things that will actual stain clothes like oil. Then use sand paper, Files, and whatever else that actually add wear and tear. I used a file to rough up the end of the sleeves, pockets, legs, ect. I then used sand paper to add “natural” wear on areas. It’s pretty simple don’t over think it.
Permablood works very well for adding blood to clothes.
When u explain it like that I’m actually confident in myself lol. I want to do it before he has any bullet holes so no blood. Could I just use black spray paint or something that stains black? Is there any good photos of the actual coveralls? Thank you
I lightly sanded the pockets, buttocks, knees, elbows, and waistband with 120 grit paper, washed them, put them on and rolled around on the asphalt for about five minutes, then applied motor oil to the chest, thighs, ankles, back, and waistband, then washed it again. I’m pretty happy with how it turned out so far. Might do what Tbitt did and leave them out in the sun for a few days too.
I don’t have exactly the 2018 coveralls, but I do have some generic navy blue coveralls that look the part, kinda like the TOTS 1/6 figures.
Would leaving them out in the sun for a week or so make them fade into a lighter blue?
Would a wash in a basin with a water/dark grey acrylic paint mix help greying them out a bit?
